Station House Media Unit (shmu), established as a charity in 2003, is a core cultural organisation in the North East of Scotland and is at the forefront of Community Media development in the UK. While we deliver services across the region, our primary focus is supporting residents from Aberdeen\u2019s seven regeneration areas and other disadvantaged communities, both geographic and interest based. Our diverse programmes include radio and video production, traditional and online publications, music production, and digital inclusion.\u202f\u00a0<\/div>

Our vision is for an equitable society where everyone can participate fully, achieve their potential, have their voices heard, and drive positive, lasting change.\u202f\u00a0<\/div>

We have a multi-purpose studio space and training room which was developed as part of Greyhope Community Hub, opened in 2023.\u00a0 We regularly run training courses in the space, e.g. on podcasting and introduction to community film, with sessions for both young people and adults.\u00a0 We have started running some of our Wellbeing and other Adult Services activities from Greyhope too, in partnership with others working in Torry.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
