News Story
Share your Community News with us!
News stories may cover an issue affecting the area, a community success to celebrate or an update on your group/organisation.
News articles appear on the front page of the website (the 4 most recent news stories) and on the main News page where all stories are listed.
We require you to include at least one image, if you wish to include more, please let us know and we will make arrangements to get these from you.

Heritage Story
Submit a story for the Heritage page.
Heritage items are stories about the area, they may be personal memories, reminiscence pieces or general history of the area.
We require you to include at least one image, if you wish to include more, please let us know and we will make arrangements to get these from you.

Local Event
Share an event for the What’s on Calendar to keep your community up to date with all the goings on in the area.
Promote one-off community events or regular groups to the whole community in one place.
What you need.
- The title
- An image
- Details of the event (name, date, time, venue)
- Host information
We will need to contact you about your event so that you may review it before it is published.
Directory Listing
Promote your organisation/group to the whole community on the Connected (Community name) Directory.
Directory listings will appear on the Directory page with a link to an individual page for each listing.
What you need.
- Blurb of organisation/group (150/200 words)
- Basic contact details
- Address (for map)
- An image
- Link to own website/other pages (optional)
