A Play for Torry Script Reading

 This is a community-based theatre project that centres community members as culture bearers, storytellers, artists. Using verbatim interviews, music, poetry, and developed with the people of Torry, this play celebrates the resistance of the land and people of Torry:  From the fish, to the oil, RAAC and beyond.

Please join us for a reading of the first draft of the script, put together from many interviews, archives, workshop generated material.

This project would not be possible without your generous  contributions and we are committed to continuing this collaborative effort to tell the story of Torry and to celebrate the it’s people and land. We hope to get your valuable feedback to input towards further development of  the play.

A light buffet lunch will be provided, the bar will be open. Kids, friends, are welcome.
