Speak Up

The course will focus on confidence building and groupwork, bringing participants together once a week for 8 weeks to work together to create a radio show, TV programme or musical soundscape, culminating in a live radio broadcast, a live streamed magazine style TV programme, or a showcase of music to an invited audience. There will be opportunities to engage in the course both ‘on screen or mic’ or ‘behind the scenes’ so everyone can get involved regardless of initial confidence levels and interest. There are 2 Speak Up programmes available. One open to 16-24yrs and one for those 25+ who are not in education, employment or training. This programme focuses on confidence building and group work as participants work together to create a short piece of media content (podcast, short TV show etc).
